Design with Emotional Intelligence
Graphic design, motion, and interaction that connects authentically
Vienna-based designer crafting visual systems and experiences that prioritize clarity, emotional resonance, and human connection. From brand identity to motion design to digital interfaces—thoughtful work that communicates with intention.
About Me
I'm a Vienna-based designer working at the intersection of graphic design, motion, and interaction. With an international background, I bring a naturally adaptive mindset to every project—balancing creative intuition with thoughtful execution.
My work is shaped by more than aesthetics and technical skill. I'm drawn to the deeper sensitivity of how people feel, perceive, and connect. I believe good design isn't just seen—it's experienced.
How I Work
- Listen first, act with intention
- Pay close attention to emotional tone and clarity
- Collaborate as a space for mutual growth
- Respect both the process and the people involved
What Drives My Work
I'm interested in emotional intelligence as a guiding principle in design—creating work that communicates with intention, resonates with authenticity, and leaves space for human connection. Whether I'm editing, animating, or crafting visual systems, the goal is always the same: help brands communicate clearly and make their audiences feel something real.
What I Do
Three disciplines working together to create experiences that resonate. Each serves a purpose—clarity, emotion, and connection.
Graphic Design
Visual systems, brand identity, print and digital assets. I create cohesive visual languages that communicate clearly and feel intentional. Every color, typeface, and element serves the message—nothing decorative for its own sake.
Motion Design
Animation, video, dynamic storytelling. Motion brings rhythm and emotion to communication. I use animation purposefully—to clarify, guide attention, or deepen the emotional resonance of a message.
Interaction Design
User experience, digital interfaces, human-centered interactions. Great interfaces feel natural and intuitive. I design experiences that respect the user's time and intelligence, creating clarity at every step.
How They Work Together
These three disciplines aren't separate silos—they inform and strengthen each other. A brand identity (graphic design) comes alive through motion. A digital interface (interaction design) gains emotional depth through thoughtful visual design and micro-interactions. Together, they create cohesive experiences where every touchpoint communicates with intention and feels human.
Across all three, I focus on the same principles: clarity, rhythm, emotional tone, and respect for the person on the other side of the screen. That's where the real design happens—in the space between intention and perception.
How I Work
Design is never just about aesthetics. It's about understanding people—what they feel, what they need, and how to communicate with intention. My approach centers on emotional intelligence as both a principle and a practice.
Listen First, Act with Intention
Before sketching or strategizing, I listen. To the brief, to the audience, to the nuances of what's unsaid. Understanding comes before execution.
Balance Intuition with Thoughtfulness
Creative intuition matters. So does rigorous thinking. The best work lives at the intersection—where instinct is grounded in reason and clarity.
Attention to Tone, Clarity, and Rhythm
Every visual choice carries emotional weight. I'm deliberate about typography, spacing, color, and motion—ensuring they work together to create the right feeling and communicate clearly.
Respect the Process and the People
Good design takes time and collaboration. I value transparency, honest feedback, and treating every stakeholder—from client to end user—with respect.
Collaboration as Mutual Growth
The best work happens when we learn from each other. I see collaboration as a space for both of us to grow—asking questions, sharing perspective, and building something together.
Stay Grounded Under Pressure
Tight timelines and complex challenges are part of creative work. I stay calm, make grounded decisions, and keep the bigger picture in focus.
What This Means in Practice
For You (as a Client)
You're not hiring a technician—you're partnering with someone who cares about your success. I'll ask the questions that matter, challenge assumptions respectfully, and keep you informed every step of the way. You'll always know what's happening and why.
For Your Audience
Every design decision is made with your audience in mind. I think about how they'll feel, what they'll understand, and how they'll move through the experience. The goal is design that communicates with clarity and resonates authentically.
For the Work Itself
Whether it's a brand identity, motion piece, or interactive experience, the work is intentional. Nothing is decorative. Every element serves the communication, and the whole thing works together to create the right tone and clarity.
Recent Work
A selection of projects across graphic design, motion, and interaction design—each shaped by attention to emotional tone, clarity, and human connection.
Brand Identity System
A Vienna-based tech startup needed a visual identity that communicated both innovation and approachability. The challenge was balancing technical sophistication with human warmth.
Approach
We developed a modular typographic system paired with a restrained color palette and custom iconography. Every element was designed to feel intentional—nothing decorative, everything purposeful. The result was a flexible system that worked across print, digital, and environmental applications while maintaining a clear emotional tone.
Motion Design Project
Animated brand storytelling
Animated Brand Story
A cultural organization wanted to communicate their mission through a short animated film. The brief required capturing complex ideas about community, heritage, and forward-thinking values in under 90 seconds.
Approach
We crafted a motion design that layered typography, illustration, and subtle animation to create rhythm and emotional resonance. Every transition was purposeful—motion guided attention and clarified meaning rather than distracted from it. The result was a piece that felt both modern and timeless.
Interaction Design
User experience focused
Digital Platform Redesign
An established publishing platform needed a complete interaction design overhaul. Users were overwhelmed by options, and the interface didn't reflect the quality of the content or the thoughtfulness of the editorial team.
Approach
We simplified the information architecture, redesigned the interface with clarity and hierarchy in mind, and introduced subtle micro-interactions that guided users without being intrusive. The new design respected users' intelligence while removing unnecessary friction. Engagement metrics improved significantly post-launch.
